How Do You Attract Customers To Your Booth?

Standard

With so many artists at an art or craft festival, how do you attract customers to your booth? Is there something about your display that stands out?

There was an artist at the 23rd Annual Las Olas Art Fair Part I (January 1st & 2nd, 2011) who really knew how to draw customers to her booth.

The artist with the inviting display is: Julia Watkins. She creates beautiful paintings using oils and acrylics.

At the Las Olas Art Fair, Julia placed signs next to her paintings, which made you stop and look at her work. For example…

Julia Watkins: Oils & Paintings

If the painting that you see pictured above was in her booth, she would have had a sign that read: “Can You Find The Dolphins In This Painting?”. What a great way to interact with the patrons! This definitely will make anyone stop and look at the painting.

Have you done anything unique like Julia to attract customers to you booth? Please share!
