This weekend (March 5th & 6th, 2011), Howard Alan Events proudly presents the 10th Annual Downtown Venice Art Classic in Venice, Florida. It will be our 2nd Art Festival this weekend, alongside the Las Olas Art Fair Part II!
The address to the Festival is: 219 W Venice Avenue, Venice, FL 34285. Times are Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm. Admission is free and open to the public.
Now, here are some very talented artists you can expect to see at the Festival:
The first artist we would like to introduce to you is Gail Pasternack. Gail creates the most beautiful pottery. Her work includes serving pieces, vases, bowls, candle holders, and much more. You can view more of her gorgeous artwork HERE.
The next artist we would like to introduce to you is Eugene Rizzo. Eugene started painting professionally in 1999 after recovering from serious cancer surgery. He fell in love with watercolor painting and art became his passion. His paintings include pictures of: lighthouses, boats & sailboats, seascapes, landscapes, and much more. You can view more of his extraordinary work HERE.
The final artist we would like to introduce to you is Deb Wofford. Deb creates the most exquisite wood sculptures. She mainly uses a chisel and a hammer to create her masterpieces. Then, she stains her creations in oils. The piece shown above is stunning!
You will be able to see the artists mentioned above along with 150 other talented artists. We are very excited for this Art Festival! We are looking forward to having YOU there, as well!

I enjoy attending your events and buying works by the talented artists and craftsmen. A couple of years ago, I attended one of your events in Del Ray beach and saw the work of an artist who painted wine bottles and wine glasses in vivid colors on fairly large canvases. I did not buy anything from him, but wish I had. I don’t remember his name and have been searching for him so that I can now buy something from him. Can you help me identify and locate him?
