9th Annual Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival (June 25-26, 2011)

This weekend (June 25-26), American Craft Endeavors presents the 9th Annual Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival in Dunedin, Florida.

The Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival returns to Main Street this summer with a unique blend of contemporary, original works at affordable prices, June 25 – 26, 2011. A Green Market offers festival goers a broad selection of specialty teas, exotic plants, as well as gourmet sauces and salsas. This outdoor craft showcase is popular among locals and tourists alike and provides a wonderful opportunity for festival goers to explore the art of new as well as established local and national crafters.

Admission is free and open to the public. Times are Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm. The navigational address is: 271 Main Street, Dunedin, FL 34698.

Here are a few of the fine crafters you will be able to meet this weekend:

Michele Tanner: Wood Frames

The first crafter we would like to introduce to you is Michele Tanner. Michele creates beautiful wooden frames. These would be great for pictures of your summer adventures! You can view more of her frames HERE.

Ellen Robins: Jewelry

Next, we have Ellen Robins. Ellen’s beautiful one of a kind piece, pictured above, is so distinctive with its contrasting colors of violet purple and bright green. A large silver toned bead cap is wire wrapped onto each end using periodot colored copper wire so that the brading will not unravel during the many years of use this necklace is sure to give you. Glenn Gross: Orchids

The final fine crafter we would like to introduce to you is Glenn Gross. Glenn’s Gross Orchids is a locally owned and operated nursery with over 15 years’ experience growing orchids in Central Florida. The focus of his nursery is the beginner looking to obtain their first orchid, and the novice who has a small number of plants with limited experience. You can learn more about Glen’s orchids HERE.
