Artist Spotlight: Patricia Chapman


Artist, Patricia Chapman, will be joining us at the 4th Annual Boulder Festival of the Arts on 29th Street in Boulder, Colorado this weekend (June 25-26, 2011). She is a local Boulder, Colorado artist, which makes her presence even more special!

Patricia is an assemblage artist who utilizes found objects to create commentaries about life, love, and other impossible situations. There is a narrative aspect to her art, incorporating the use of text and a large measure of humor. She has exhibited her art nationally and internationally, has been featured in several publications, and was the subject of a PBS documentary for the series In Context.
