This weekend (July 8-10, 2011), we have a talented husband and wife who will be showcasing each of their own work (in separate booths) at the 20th Anniversary Chicago Tribune North Michigan Avenue Art Festival.
First, we would like to introduce to you Steve Ward, who is an acrylic painter. Color, geometry and motion are the driving elements in his artwork. For those of you who have visited his booth at a fair, you know that he paints a wide variety of subjects including florals, landscapes, abstracts, seascapes and more. But, all of his work has a common look and feel.
Steve Ward will be in booth #60 at the show this weekend!
Next, we would like to introduce to you Cheryl Ward. Cheryl hand paints cattail reeds and then arranges them in a mosaic of color. Cattail reeds produce a long beveled leaf that is rigid and consistent in size which provides a workable surface for her abstract mosaics.
Cheryl Ward will be in booth #61 at the show this weekend!
You can learn more about both of these artists by visiting their website HERE.
We look forward to seeing you at the show this weekend!
