The two artists are: Drew Hine and Jamie Murphy.

Drew Hine: Glass

Drew Hine: Glass

First, we are going to introduce to you Drew Hine. Drew’s passion for glass began when, as a ceramics major, he found himself in a glassblowing class. The artist enjoys exploring the simplicity and perfection of the vessel, striving to create tall, beautiful forms. His most recent work incorporates bright, vivid color, yet maintains the sleek, modern shapes that are his signature. Today Drew resides in Pittsburgh’s South Side where he runs his private glassblowing shop, Vessel Studio, with his wife Jeannine. You can view more of his vibrant work HERE.

Jamie Murphy: Leather Bags

Next, we have Jamie Murpy. Jamie creates art with a purpose. Her exclusive handmade, leather bags and wallets are unique and handcrafted with special attention to detail, functionality and aesthetics.  In addition to her line of  high-end Legacy bags she also makes signature Peace bags, which are organically shaped, unlined, one of a kind bags and clutches of varying sizes and design. Five percent of sales from the Peace Bags are donated to charitable organizations. You can view more of her collection HERE.

Both of these artists are local in Pittsburgh! So – make sure you come out and support those who are local to your area!
