Here are a few of the fine crafters you can expect to meet this weekend:

Darlene Janora: Wood

The first artist we would like to introduce to you is Darlene Janora. Most of Darlene’s work is called Intarsia, which means: the art of decorating with wood mosaics developed during the Renaissance. She starts with a solid piece of wood, draws the picture directly onto the wood and then cuts out each piece individually. Each piece is hand sanded and shaped, painted or stained and than glued back together. The 3D effect is created by using shims in certain areas. Finally, polyurethane is applied. You can view more of Darlene’s work HERE.

Suzanne Boss: Jewelry

Next, we have Suzanne Boss. Suzanne hand-makes her beautiful jewelry from start to finish. Additionally, she is also very talented at making sun catchers! She is more than willing to do custom work – so if you have an idea in mind… contact Suzanne! You can view more of her work HERE.

Karen Wasmer: Fiber

The final fine crafter we are going to introduce to you today is Karen Wasmer. Karen creates handmade custom designed handbags, wallets, totes, ipad covers, cell phone covers and much more. You can learn more about this fine crafter by “liking” her Facebook fan page HERE.

You will be able to meet the artists mentioned above along with almost 100 other fine crafters from across the state of Florida and around the United States.
