Howard Alan Events is showing their artists some Valentine’s Day love this weekend at Coconut Point. All artists participating in the 6th Annual Coconut Point Art Festival will be entered into a drawing for $4000 worth of Gas Cards. The drawing will be held on Saturday during the art festival. Each artist could win one of 80 $50 gas cards. Howard Alan Events is always striving to add more value to their show experience for the artists, and decided helping offset the cost of travelling to the show would be most appreciated over prize money. Howard Alan Events and Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Southwest Florida are working together during the upcoming 6th Annual Coconut Point Art Festival, February 11 – 12, to raise awareness for breast cancer. Many participating artists have generously donated gift certificates for the $20,000 Art Festival Shopping Spree Chance Giveaway fundraiser. Howard Alan Events would like to extend their thanks to all of our artists who generously donated toward the Art Festival Shopping Spree. Tickets for the giveaway will be available at the Susan G. Komen for the Cure booth during the art show and online at komenswfl.org for a suggested donation of $15.00. All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and help to further its vision, A World Without Breast Cancer.
The parking fields of Coconut Point will come to life with the bold, vibrant and whimsical art of 250 of the country’s leading artists during this two-day juried outdoor art showcase. The artistic media represented include paintings, sculptures, photography, glass, wood, jewelry, collage, and ceramics with prices set to suit all budgets. The spacious aisles allow festival-goers to comfortably explore the original artwork and meet the artists who will be present for the duration of the art show. Admission is free and open to the public.
