Thankful for this Festival: 12th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Thanksgiving Weekend Art Festival

We had a terrific art festival this past weekend in Pineapple Grove, which is the Arts District of Downtown Delray Beach. Festival-goers came out in droves to walk off their Thanksgiving Dinner and shop for their love ones for the Holiday Season.

12th Annual Lauderdale by the Sea Craft Festival (November 26th & 27th, 2011)

This weekend (November 26th & 27th, 2011), American Craft Endeavors is proud to present to you the 12th Annual Lauderdale by the Sea Craft Festival in Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida.

A wide variety of original and affordable handmade crafts, appealing to all tastes, will be on display and for sale. Craft mediums include folk art, pottery, handmade jewelry, paintings, personalized gifts, handmade clothing, scented soaps and body products. Prices are set to suit all budgets, ranging from as little as $3 to $3,000.

In order to ensure a superior event with quality affordable original crafts, all of the local and national crafters have been hand-selected from hundreds of applicants by American Craft Endeavors, producers of the top outdoor craft festivals in the country. All crafters will be on site for the duration of the festival available to discuss their art , techniques and inspiration.

Admission is free and open to the public. Times are Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm. The navigational address is: 4501 N Ocean Drive, Lauderdale By Sea, FL 33308.

Kelli Boxberger: Wood

Brittney Love: Photography

Next, we would like to introduce to you Brittney Love. Brittney has an incredible talent for her portrait photography. In her portfolio, she has also done weddings. You can learn more about Brittney on her website HERE.

Donna Marasia: Mixed Media

The final artist we are going to introduce to you today is Donna Marasia. Donna brings a contemporary twist to the classic 1960’s peace sign. “2 Hip Chicks” fashions unique pieces of canvas wall décor. This weekend (November 26th & 27th, 2011), Howard Alan Events is proud to present to you 12th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Thanksgiving Weekend Art Festival in Delray Beach, Florida.

This two-day juried festival makes the arts accessible to a broad audience and appeals to people of all ages including families, art enthusiasts and collectors eager to explore the work of new and emerging talent. Timed with the Thanksgiving weekend, the festival presents holiday shoppers an alternative to crowded mall shopping and offers a vast selection for those seeking unique gift items.

J.P. Garner: Mixed Media 3-D

The first artist we are going to introduce to you is J.P. Garner. J.P.  is wowing the interior decor market with his contemporary and modern themed, beautifully fabricated metal art objects. His portfolio of work includes wall hangings that are perfectly balanced, lightweight in appearance and absolutely striking in design and tone. You can see more of his flawless work HERE.

Scott Menaul: Digital

Next, we would like to introduce to you Scott Menaul. Scott is an abstract artist with a unique creative process. His methods allow him to customize artwork, changing colors, dimensions and composition. His work certainly stands out amongst other artists (and other mediums, as well). Annmarie Siegel: Jewelry

The final artist we are going to introduce to you today is Annmarie Siegel. After taking apart one of her father’s favorite pocket watches, Annmarie found that there were many more treasured pieces inside that she could use to create with, she was then inspired by the shapes and saw that they were much more than just watch parts. She began to create recognizable things such as fish, owls and birds with the pieces. Since then, her obsession with constantly making new designs has become her livelihood. Her jewelry is gorgeous! 11th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Thanksgiving Weekend Art Festival RECAP!

Over the weekend, there was an art festival in Downtown Delray Beach, Florida. It was the 11th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Thanksgiving Weekend Art Festival. Despite the rain on Sunday, there was an active crowd all weekend long!

20th Anniversary Tarpon Springs Thanksgiving Weekend Craft Festival

This weekend, American Craft Endeavors is proud to present this weekend’s craft festival! It’s the 20th Anniversary Tarpon Springs Thanksgiving Weekend Craft Festival. It will be held in Tarpon Springs, Florida on November 27th & 28th, 2010.

Tarpon Springs is home to beautiful residential areas, saltwater bayous and a group of other beautiful waterways. At this show, you are sure to find the most original in hand-crafted work displayed by America’s finest crafters. Get your holiday shopping started with this craft festival!

Lee DayVault & Mimi Alexander began their business at a Labor Day festival. They created bags and wooden signs. The wooden signs completely sold-out during this festival while they only sold five bags. This sparked an idea for their business. They now have over 2,000 wooden sign designs! Bruce Egolf: Pens

Bruce Egolf‘s theme is “turning trash into treasure”, which is exactly what he does when he creates his pens. For example, the pens in the picture above are made from an old bowling ball. To see more of Bruce’s work, click HERE.

Michael & Kira Dworkin: Jewelry

Michael & Kira Dworkin have been handcrafting exquisite unique designs for over fifteen years. Their jewelry is created with the finest components using pearls, semiprecious stones, Swarovski crystals, sterling silver & 14kt. gold filled findings.
