A Great Investment For Any Artist

Standard

A great investment for any artist or fine crafter would be to have a website.

When patrons visit an art or craft festival, many of them may take a business card (which is another very important necessity) to think about a purchase or to do some further investigating about the artwork.

On your business card, you should include your contact information (such as your name, phone number & email address) along with your website. Whether an artist paints pictures, hand-makes furniture or throws pottery, they are still visual. The best place for any visual artist to show his or her beautiful master pieces is on a visual medium. Therefore, a website is a must!

If you currently don’t have a website, it’s definitely something to think about. Other than exhibiting at an art or craft festival, a website is great exposure for your work.

Another Website Update!

Standard

(FYI: You can click on the highlighted words.)

We have been working on our website constantly to try and make it more useful and user-friendly by adding more features. This weekend we were able to add an interactive map, which I blogged about earlier in the week. Today, I want to introduce to you something else… a photo gallery!

Check-out our Photo Gallery!!

Yes, we did have a photo gallery when we launched our brand new website about two months ago. But, now we are able to upload our photos much faster. Therefore, we have quadrupled the amount of pictures on our website’s photo gallery! Make sure you take a look and see all the activity that takes place at each of our art festivals. We will be updating this part of the website weekly, so make sure you check after each show.

Tell us what you think. We would love to know! You can comment below OR call us (954-472-3755) OR email us (info@artfestival.com). We look forward to hearing from you.

New Website Feature!

Standard

After a long, relaxing and wonderful weekend, we wanted to come back on Tuesday and give you a surprise! I’m sure after reading the title of this blog post, you already know what it is. We have added a brand new feature on our website! And that feature is…

Website Map

the interactive map! Each star located on the map represents an art festival that we produce. Click on each star for location and festival details, it will also link you to the festival page. You can also zoom in and out using the tools on the left-hand-side of the maps.

Florida Website Map

There is even a map for just our Florida shows! Because many of our art festivals are in Florida, it is important that we have a separate map so it is easier to read. Now, where do you find this new feature? It’s very easy! When you go to our website, go to the very top of the page and click on the tab that says “Map”. (Click here to view the interactive map.)

Enjoy the new feature that we have added over the weekend! Once you check it out, we would love to hear some feedback! Comment below or email us at info@artfestival.com.
